Small and stout damselflies found in the stream is genus Rhinocypha (World list of Odonata (Feb. 2009) include Heliocypha and Aristocypha in this genus). I personally call it "Big Nose". Six species are recorded in Thailand. R. biforata is the commonest species found around the stream.
young male
Male is black body with blue markings. Apical third of hindwing is black with iridescent spot. Female has synthoracic markings similar to the male and is duller in coloration.

This species found throughout the country and all year.
