Tholymis tillarga is a common species found throughour the country. It's hard to see in the day time because it flies only in evening or before sunrise.

mature maleYoung male is yellow and there is no trace of white spot on the wing. When it ages, its body changes to red and the white spot appears.
female
Female is similar to the young male.
